Sec2 Security Health and Safety Policy statement

The director regards the promotion of health, safety and welfare measures as an essential objective for management and employees at all levels.

It is therefore, this company’s policy to do all that is reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury, to protect everyone from foreseeable work hazards including the public in so far as they come into contact with the company.

In particular, this company has responsibility to: –

a)    Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, taking account of statutoryprovisions.

b)   To carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments in accordance with themanagement of health and safety regulations1999, Control of substances

hazardous to health Regulation 1999 and provide suitable safe working procedures

c)   To carry out suitable and sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision

as identified from risk assessment, to enable employees to perform safely and effectively.

d)    Make available all necessary safety devices and safety equipment and supervise their use.

e)    It is the company’s intention to comply with the construction, design and managementregulations 1994 and the construction (health, safety and welfare) regulations 1996.

To maintain a constant and continuing interest in health and safety matters applicable

To the company’s activities, in particular by consulting and involving employees.

Employees must also be aware that they have personal and legal responsibility under the health and safety at work act 1974 to take reasonable care of their own health, safety and welfare and that of others who may be affected by their acts of omissions and to co-operate with the employer and others to comply with statutory requirements.
